Deposit

A deposit of $300 per person (including a $150 non-refundable planning and operation fee) is due within seven calendar days of booking. Receipt of the deposit by LongTong Travel confirms your reservation and is applied toward your final payment. Payment may be made with a check or money order.

In the event that the deposit does not reach us within ten (10) days after the booking is made, we will assume that you no longer wish to travel with us and we will release any arrangements reserved for you. The booking becomes a contract once our written confirmation of receiving your deposit is dispatched to you. Full payment must be paid to us no later than 30 days prior to departure from U.S.A. and Australia If the booking is made less than 30 days before the departure date, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

Final Payment:

Cancellation:

Cancellations must be made in a written format. If we receive cancellations 90 days prior to departure, we must charge $150 expedition fee per person.
Cancellations are very costly. Please see our cancellation fee schedule:

Any refund owed to you will be made directly to your travel agent and you will receive your refund there. If you have purchased the air ticket, the refund will be held until the air ticket is returned to LongTong Travel Inc.

Travel Protection Plan:

We strongly encourage you to obtain travel insurance.
Depending on the length and cost of your tour, we provide different travel insurance plans.
If you take the whole trip with the group, we provide both the travel accident insurance and the international flight insurance.
If you join the land tour with the group, we provide the travel accident insurance only.

China Visa and Tibet Visitor Permit:

All visitors to China and/or Tibet must possess a Chinese visa and/or Tibet Visitor's permit prior to departure from the US. Your passport must be valid for six months after the date of return. LongTong Travel offers optional visa acquisition services for our clients at a cost of $100.00 per person. This includes the cost of visa acquisition, handling, and express mailing to the client. A China visa application form will be supplied and must be returned to LongTong Travel along with your passports and one passport-type photograph no later than 40 days prior to departure.
If applying for the visa by yourself, please contact the nearest Chinese consulate office in your area.

Hong Kong Visa:

USA Passport: not required if your stay in Hong Kong is no more than one month.
Other Travel Documents: please check with your travel agent.

Please submit travel documents to your booking agents 40 days prior to the departure date if you need to apply for a visa. Tour participants who submit their travel documents late will have to pay additional charges.

Cost of the Tour Includes:

Airport transfers—if LongTong Travel Inc. issues the scheduled international air ticket.
Transportation inside China : air, train, and bus, etc.
Hotels in the itinerary, all based on two persons share one standard room.
Meals specified in the itinerary (Only one soft drink or beer is served per person at dinner).
· Sightseeing (including admission fees), LongTong Travel Inc. reserve the right to make alterations or adjustments to the itinerary under a given condition of weather, safety or strike, etc..
· Free Baggage Allowance: Passengers holding adult-fare tickets are entitled to free baggage allowance of 40kg for first class, 30kg for business class, and 20kg for economy class.
· Served by a professional tour guide in China
· Travel insurance: please see tour insurance plan.

· All personal expenses such as but not limit to: phone calls, laundry, beverages, postage, and excess luggage charges
· Fees for extended stay or additional
· Federal airport tax, US & Australian Ticket tax, fuel tax, insurance tax, flight tax.
· Tips for tour guides and drivers
· Single room charges: please see detail in itinerary
· Insurance polices for personal accident, luggage, health, trip cancellation or trip interruption may be purchased separately for an additional charge

Changes In Itinerary:

LongTong Travel will make every effort to provide all the trips described in your itinerary. However, circumstances can arise (i.e. bad weather) which may require an adjustment to the tour. We will do all that is possible to avoid such changes, but we must reserve the right to make such modifications if they are determined to be necessary.

Airport Check-in and Flight Confirmatiom:

It is highly recommended that all passengers check in at least two hours prior to departure for domestic flight, three hours prior to departure for international flight.
It is highly recommended that you reconfirm your flight numbers and times with the airlines directly at least 72 hours before departure.

Purchased Air

LongTong Travel Inc sells air transportation from various independent airline carriers that are not subject to its control; and LongTong Travel Inc is NOT responsible for flight changes, cancellations and or any loss or damages which incurred when the services of such carriers are used.

Responsibilities

1.  LonTong Travels Inc. is responsible for the implement of the tour arrangement in LongTong itinerary, including transportation, sightseeing, and hotel accommodations.

2.  LongTong Travel and its agents are not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes of schedule caused by weather, political situation, nature disaster,epidemics, war, criminal activities or any other cause beyond its control. All such losses or expenses have to be borne and paid for by the group members jointly. If the rest of the tour schedule has been cancelled due to the above reasons, the unused charge of meals, accommodation, entrance fee could be refunded on the basis of the tour fare. LongTong travel Inc. reserves the right to alter or adjust the itinerary in view of upholding the clients’ interests.
LongTong Travel Inc. reserves the rights to make changes in the itinerary whenever LongTong Travel Inc. deems necessary for the comfort, convenience, and safety of the tour participants, or to cancel a tour at any time. LongTong Travel Inc. will refund any unused fund to tour participants.
LongTong Travel Inc. also reserves the right to cancel a tour prior to departure for insufficient membership. Liability is limited to the full refund of money received by our American & Australian Travel agencies.

3.  LongTong Travel Inc. reserves the rights to accept or reject any person as tour participant, to expel from the participant whose behaviour may create harm to others.

4.  If any tour participant wants to alter or revise the itinerary after departure for personal reasons, he or she must bear the additional charges incurred by the changes.

5.  LongTong Travel Inc. is not responsible for any rejection of entry by immigration office and custom house, even if the tour participant holds a valid passport along with a proper visa.

6.  All travel insurance claims must be reported and handled within 24 hours on the spot where the accident occurred.

7.  Every tour participant must be responsible for his/her own health condition and decide whether he/she is suitable for traveling, especially the people who are under very poor health condition must get the approval from the doctor beforehand. LongTong Travel Inc.undertakes no legal responsibility for the participants health problems.

8.  Tour participants are wholly responsible for any purchase(s) made in China or Hong Kong . Please beware of imitations.
